This facility does have cameras and dusk-to-dawn lighting to discourage theft.

DO use a Disc Lock. They discourage theft as they cannot be cut off as easily as traditional locks.  An image of Disc lock can be found on our tenant protection page.

Keep your belongings INSURED

WE OFFER tenant protection insurance on our website through a third party. WE DO NOT COVER YOUR BELONGINGS through our facility insurance.

DO purchase insurance, through our website or through your insurance agent
DO purchase insurance, through our website or through your insurance agent
DO take inventory and pictures of personal belongings for any future insurance claims
DO NOT assume your valuables are covered under your current insurance policies without consulting  with your agent.

Keep your belongings RODENT FREE

We strive to keep our facility rodent free by insuring air-tight seals around doors, however mice are very opportunistic.

DO tuck fabric softener strips around items like sofas, etc; it is a natural rodent deterrent.
DO NOT STORE food in the storage unit.
DO NOT USE mouse bait, as this actually attracts mice seeking an easy meal.

Keep your belongings DRY

We strive to keep our units dry by grading our facility to facilitate maximum water run-off, as well as keeping the facility plowed but spring weather is unpredictable, and in extreme cases may result in ice dams in front of units.

DO place your valuables on pallets.   
DO leave air space around the perimeter to aid ventilation.
DO NOT place boxes etc directly on the concrete.
